SSC has announced the New MTS Exam Dates, Admit Cards. The Multitasking staff Exam will be held Online in Sep-Oct 2017 (Official Notice). New SSC MTS Online Exam Dates lies between 16th September to 31st October 2017. The offline tests conducted in April, May, June 2017 have been cancelled already.

This year number of applications for Multi Tasking Staff Recruitment are very high compared to previous years.  For the year 2017, applications were invited for as much as 8300 posts. The minimum qualification required for MTS posts is class 8th.

The SSC MTS 2017 Exam Dates: The Exam (online) will be hosted on the above given dates (region wise) in September-October months. Candidates need to download new MTS Admit card as the old ones aren’t going to work.

Staff Selection Commission has notified the changes in MTS Exam dates according to the states. The Exam for SSC Multitasking posts will be conducted on dates shown in the above table. Only those candidates should be able to appear in the exams, who had appeared in the previous ones.

Last year, the vacancies in Multitasking Staff Recruitment were advertised for PWD candidates only. But this year, total 8300 vacancies are available for all common candidates having minimum class 8th qualified.


That’s why the number of aspirants for All India Level Open Competitive Examination will be all time higher this year which means neck-break competition.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern

SSC MTS Exam consists two papers i.e Paper I & II. First paper consists four sections with questions in English & Hindi. Negative marking is applicable for this SSC Exam as 0.25 Mark deduction for each wrong answer. This is an online test.

For regular candidates, the time allowed is 90 Minutes while extra 30 minutes are allotted to visually impaired aspirants. The exam is bilingual i.e the candidates will get the paper printed in both English and Hindi.

How to download SSC MTS Admit Card 2017?

The call letters aka hall tickets are issued region wise for all SSC Exams. For Multitasking staff recruitment test too, the admit card will be released region wise.

Once the SSC MTS 2017 admit card is officially published online, the aspirants are required to follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. First, visit the SSC region site for your state as mentioned in the above table.
  2. Check the link availability for “MTS 2016-17 call letter” link and click it.
  3. Enter the required login information such as the application number, DOB etc.
  4. After entering your correct login details, press the “Submit” button.
  5. The admit card shall be displayed on the device you’re using.
  6. Take a printout of this and bring on the day of the examination.

The direct links shall be updated once SSC released MTS exam admit card for the recruitment year 2016-17.

      All SSC MTS Exams has been cancelled. Now, the re-exams will be held in September-October 2017. New Dates and New Admit Card will be released soon by SSC.

          SSC has completely cancelled the Multitasking Staff Test. Now, the SSC MTS Exam will be conducted in September-October 2017 through the Online Mode.

      Cheek your mailbox if you found your registration no. of any ssc exam then you can try with that because ssc require one time registration for future exams also. also you can search the reg. no. on your previously examined Admit Cards or printout of Application forms.
