First of all there will be two papers, the first one being an MCQ of 100 questions. Each of the questions is based on General English and General Hindi, carrying only 1 mark whereas total marks is 200. In case of any wrong answers there will be negative marking of 0.25.

The total time of the paper would be 2 hours. The second paper is more conventional and comprehensive with total marks 200 and total time 2 hours. It is under the discretion of the commission to fix disqualifying marks.

Selection Process: The selection for Junior Hindi Translator in SSC is made on the basis of score achieved in Paper I and Paper II of the written test. Candidates who cleares the written examination shall be called for verifying their documents.

The registration process for all SSC exams is almost same. The SSC JHT form can be filled up online at portal by undergoing through the defined process here. The registration is available in two parts i.e Part I and Part II which have been described below:

Part I – Online Registration

  1. Visit the online application link for SSC online registration.
  2. Enter your name followed by the father’s name, date of birth, gender etc.
  3. Click on the “enter” button to proceed further.
  4. Now, your registration number along with the SSC account password shall be generated.

Part II – Application Form

  1. Now login with the registration number and the password that were generated in the first part of the registration.
  2. In this part, the applicant shall be asked about the exam center choice, entering personal information, basic profile details, and contact details.
  3. Once the registration is done, the scanned photograph and signature of the candidate in 8-bit JPG format shall be uploaded. Submit button shall be pressed after the completion of the registration, application form.
  4. In last, don’t forget to print out the completely filled application form.

Photograph Sizes & Dimensions

The size of the candidate’s photo must not be higher than 12 KB and less than 4 KB. The resolution of the image shall be 100px wide and 120px high.

The size of the candidate’s signature file must not be less than 1 Kb and greater than 12 KB. THe resolution of this image must be 140px wide and 60px high.

After completion of the Part II registration, candidate must pay the application fee as per the preferred method. Fee can be paid online using SBI Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card. Also you can pay in cash at bank’s branch by generating the payment challan

Application Fee is ₹100 for Unreserved candidates. All female candidates along with SC, ST, E.S.M, PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application charges.
