Saksham Yuva Scheme for Unemployed Youth in Haryana

The Saksham Yuva Scheme has been launched in Haryana state to fight the unemployment issue. Manohar Lal Khattar Government declared the Saksham Yuva Scheme in Haryana for Unemployed Youth in October 2016 with the objective of providing employment to the unemployed educated youth in the state.

The state government has already commenced the first phase of it by announcing a 3 Years employment scheme for the post-graduates from December 2016. The online application faculty is also introduced now at www.hrex.org.

From April 1, 2017, it included the unemployed graduate candidates in general and equivalent special (e.g. engineering) streams of the state in its periphery in discussion with the Hon’ble Chief Minister.


The government has allotted a sum of ₹340 crores towards this purpose. This amount will be raised with the inclusion of the graduates in it. This is indeed a great step towards ending the unemployment for the education youths.

The Scheme has been designed to provide an honorarium package for every selected candidate in place of 100 hours of honorary assignment , which includes an honorarium of ₹9000/- p.m. with the regular unemployment allowance of ₹3000/-p.m. for the post-graduates.

There shall be ₹7500/-as honorarium and ₹1500/- as allowance for the graduates and equivalent against an employment in the state government services near their home places.

This scheme has aimed to hit the overall unemployment situation in Haryana. With that view the Saksham portal also provides job information in private sectors too.


In coming days , this scheme plans to include the undergraduates for attributing them with job opportunities through it.

सक्षम हरियाणा योजना – Registration Process – Saksham Yuva Website

Any permanent resident of the state between the age of 21 and 35 with family income below ₹3 lacs p.a. (from all sources) who has graduated or post graduated from the Universities of Delhi or Chandigarh or any recognized university of the state are eligible to apply Saksham Yuva form.

This facility will be ceased to work after 3 years or at the completion of the candidate’s age of 35 years, whichever is earlier. An eligible candidate must be previously registered to the Live Register of the Employment Exchange of the concerned area.

The registration process is online through the portal www.hrex.org. The graduates, if yet to be registered, can fulfill the criteria simultaneously through this site.

The aspirant must not be engaged in any government, non-government, quasi-government services or be self-employed. Out of 3,545 candidates registered in the first phase, I,356 have been recruited in different sectors as per their ability and inclination.
