So here comes yet another paper leak case! Police has arrested as many as 70 alleged who are involved in this embarrassing task. Jail Prahari (warden) exam was going to take place on Jan 25, 2016 but was cancelled day before commencement.
From the arrested people, few are from Maharaja’s College in Jaipur while 40 belongs to Ajmer. DG Prisons, Ajit Singh confirmed the leakage of paper and cancellation of the paper.
Apart from the action being taken by police towards the gang involved in the leak, the prisons department has also put Manipal Technology Ltd in the red circle.
Manipal Technology Ltd is the company which was responsible to print the questions papers for this exam. Rajasthan State govt gave the opportunity of conducting this test for 925 jail wardens to this company.
As per the candidates which are now in police custody, paper was solved for Rs. 1 Lakh each. Another Rs. 1 Lakh were asked to be paid once these candidates joins as Jail Prahari.
This racket came out due to alertness of Ajmer police which noticed some youths sending question paper and keys with mobile phones at a restaurant. Then police made a lot of arrests and found the same guys which were also involved in RPSC paper leaks.
Paper is said to be leaked through the printing press. This leak didn’t only waste the time of students but also caused a big loss of revenue for the government in organizing the examination.
