PSTET Result 2016 for Level 1 & 2 Exam at www.tetpunjab.com

PSTET 2016 Result has been announced on Dec 21, 2016. The Link saying “View of Result Details” is available now at www.tetpunjab.com website. After clicking the link it displays the details to check your Punjab STET score.

It’s really amazing to see that the result for PSTET 2015 (previous year) was announced within 10 days of commencement compared to 3 Months taken this time.

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) held across the state on September 25, 2016. Both Paper I and Paper II took place in different sittings on this date. Now candidates wait is over as the PSTET Result September 2016 which has been publicly declared online.

Apart from the minor complaints, test passed off peacefully. Punjab School Education Board also got a complaint regarding a man selling the fake questions papers. He was nabbed from the spot immediately.

Last Year Exam Statistics: PSEB Chairman Mr. Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal, in a pubic note, told that about 1.73 lac candidates took part in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test in 2015. Total 333 test venues were selected to organize this TET exam. Candidates from the evening shift paper which was taken for teachers from class 6th to 8th, told the second portion of the paper was really tough to cover.

It took a week but PSEB has released answer keys for PSTET examination which can be checked booklet wise after logging in at www.tetpunjab.com web portal. Only 1-2 days will be given to candidates to report the objections to process the results faster.

TET Cut-off & Validity of Qualification Document: After scoring the minimum cut-off marks, candidates will get a valid certificate which can be used for next five years. Category wise PSTET cutoff Marks 2015 are shown below :

  • For SC Category Category: 55%  (It’s 82 marks out of total 150)
  • For Unreserved & OBC Candidates: 60%  (It’s 90 marks out of 150)

PSTET Results for September 2016 has been announced after 3 Months of exam date. Candidates who appeared in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test can check their score & marks online.

As per NCTE instructions, PSTET Certificate will be awarded to the candidates who have secured minimum 90 Marks (General) or 82 Marks (SC/ST/BC/OBC/Handicapped) in the exam.

  2. Then enter the application number or roll no in the given field.
  3. Then click “Search” button to find your subject wise marks.

PSTET Result Statistics: Very low Pass Percentage

As we know, PSTET 2016 Result has been announced in Dec 2016 and so far almost every candidate must be waiting for his / her performance and marks. Last year, the Result for Punjab State TET was damn poor compared to the Haryana TET.

As per Punjab School Education Board, 36,974 candidates appeared for Level I (ETT) exam while only 4,442 aspirants could get the pass marks. On the other side, 1.29 lakh B.ed qualified aspirants participated in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility test (Level II) out of which only 4,351 could clear the test.

    I did my paper with honesty.then why should i suffer from this cancellation of pstet exam.there are lots of people who are waiting for the clearance of exam this time in including me.there are lots of efforts and struggle behind it.i think it must not be cancelled.

    The bonafide resident candidates of Punjab who could not get through PSTET , but , have duly obtained Teacher Eligibility CTET Certificate awarded by CBSE;should be considered against the essential eligibility for Master Cadre Posts.
