OFB Trade Apprentice Result 2017 55th Batch Exam Cut Off

Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) of India organized the written examination for the 1st phase of the 55th Batch Trade apprentice (ITI/ Non-ITI) posts on March 26, 2017. The competitive test is said to be attended by approximately 4.4 Lakh candidates nationwide. The Result is available now.

The OFB, which stands for Ordnance Factory Board, has been conducting different batch exams for various posts over many years. The OFB Trade Apprentice Result 2017 for ITI and Non ITI posts for the 55th Batch has been announced on 6th June 2017.

The management for the test was done in two sessions – Forenoon and Afternoon. Approximately 5 lakh aspirants had applied for the Trade and Apprenticeship Training (Phase I) for ITI and Non ITI candidates in Ordnance Equipment Factories for 55th Batch, which was been conducted on 26.3.17.

The selection process requires applied aspirants to go through both Phase I and Phase II. Around 6948 vacancies of Trade and Apprentice Posts are available. Since the exam was held on 26th March the board is checking the ability of the candidates via the presentation of test.

Though the total number of applicants is higher, some who couldn’t appear due to error in form or inability to meet their criteria have been rejected. A list of rejected candidates was made available on the site which consists the name of 15,000+ rejected applicants.

The OFB 55th batch result has been released on the basis of overall performance in written exam; interview and factory wise merit list will be prepared for all appeared candidates. Candidates can download the OFB Admit Card for Phase II from the official website after the phase I result is out.

Candidate may be rejected if application is incomplete, doesn’t possess prescribed qualification for trade apprenticeship, is overage or underage, is devoid of color photos, with a cap or goggles, unclear or unidentifiable, and if candidate’s name is on the debarred list.

OFB Result 2017 Trade Apprentice 55th Batch Exam – How to Find?

The OFB 55th Batch Exam result of OFB Trade Apprentice Recruitment can be checked online or through the direct link that is posted here. Record retention timespan for examination material will be available for 3 months post result declaration, after which no RTI shall be entertained by any unit of Ordnance Factories.

Process to check Ordnance Factory Trade Apprentice Exam Result 2017:

  1. Use the official website ofb.gov.in that you tried while downloading the call letters for the written exam.
  2. Click the “55th Batch OFB Result” from the sidebar of the official site.
  3. After clicking the particular result link, you will be asked to provide the login information such as application number and DOB.
  4. Verify the entered credentials and Submit the same by pressing the corresponding button.
  5. At last, the OFB 2017 result will be available on the screen which can be easily printed out too.

Note: For all candidates, the merit list will be published on the official website. In the occasion of a tie in total marks obtained by a candidate, the Non ITI candidates will be given position by criteria of age seniority; and ITI candidates, by higher marks obtained in Part B, and age seniority – and for further resolve, by alphabetical order of names.
