MDU Recruitment 2017 – Peon Jobs Notification 2017

As per Advertisement Number PR-39/2017, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (MDU) calls for the offline applications for the positions of 92 Peons. The eligible candidates must be between 18 and 50 years of age as on the last date of the application form. The candidates must have passed class 8 (Middle) from a recognized education board.

The candidates are obliged to pay an application fees of ₹30 by drawing a demand draft in the favor of Finance Officer, MDU Rohtak or a candidate can simply deposit the application fee by direct submission to the University Cashier.

The ESM and PWD candidates residing in the state of Haryana are exempted from the application fee. Applicants suffering from 40 percent of disability or more shall be considered for the PWD category.

Candidates must keep in mind that a certificate is of paramount importance in claiming reservation in the respective category for determining eligibility conditions.

Note: These are contract based jobs. The period of contract is 1 Year. The contract period may be extended later.

The candidates need to apply offline by downloading the application form available on the official website The application form must be sent to the Assistant Registrar, Establishment (Non-Teaching), M.D. University, Rohtak -124001. Candidates must note that all applications must be received by the Assistant Registrar by 5 P.M. on 20th June, 2017.

The Applications have begun to the 92 vacancies and shall continue until the end of the second week of June. Candidates are advised to take note that submission of applications would close on 20th June, 2017.

The pay scale of Peons is on the basis of Haryana Government’s New Outsourcing Policy dated 06.04. 2015. The Pay band for 92 peons lie between ₹4440 and ₹7440 along with 1300 Grade Pay.

The Selection procedure would be in two phases. The first shall be a screening test (Written Exam) held by the University. The candidates that qualify in the screening test shall be called for the interview. Ineligible candidates shall not be sent any information.

The final eligibility of candidates shall be put to test and verified on the day of the interview. The candidates currently employed in Government, Semi-Government and public undertakings must procure a “No Objection Certificate” from their employers, on the day of their interview.
