Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) has announced the vacancies to 92 posts in the capacities of peon. The University shall conduct the recruitment procedure in two phases. The first shall be a screening exam (written test) and the candidates qualifying in the screening test move to the next phase of personal interview.
The MDU Peon admit cards shall be released a week or two, prior to the stage 1 screening test. The stage 1 shall be a written examination of total 100 marks. It shall be an objective nature of examination where the candidate’s Hindi shall be assessed for 70 marks, Math for 15 marks and English for another 15 marks.
There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers and the questions will be asked, pertaining to middle standard. The 100 marks shall be proportionately reduced to 70 marks.
MDU Peon Recruitment – Marks for Class 10th, 12th & Experience
For being a Matric pass, the candidate gets 5 marks. For marks up to 60 percent, a candidate gets 02 marks and for every percentage above 60 percent, 02 marks for each addition.
Class 10+2 examination provides another 05 marks for selection, up to 60 percent – 02 marks and 02 marks for every addition in percentage after that. The experience in similar position in a government, semi-government or public undertaking entails the candidate total marks of 8. Two marks will be allotted for every year of experience, with maximum marks being 8.

The interview holds 15 marks. The interview will only be held for candidates who have passed the screening test. Ineligible candidates will not be communicated further.
