GATE 2017 Result declared – Check GATE Scorecard Online

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Result 2017 has been declared by IIT Roorkee on March 26, 2017. The scorecard of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering consists of normalized marks and All India Rank of the examinee. Now, the GATE 2017 Result aspirants can take the printout of their GATE Score Card using www.gate.iitr.ernet.in portal.

GATE Notification was issued back in 2016 for the admission to the post graduate courses like P.h.D, M.Tech, M.E under seven nationalized IITs of the country. The category wise score card will be issued to SC, ST, OBC and UR candidates who obtains marks higher than the actual cut-off decided by the IITs for the admission to engineering courses.

Exam Timing: The Exam held on 4, 5, 11 and 12 February 2017 in Forenoon and Afternoon shifts. The hardest engineering exam was attended by more than 80% applicants with the following timing:

  • Morning: 9.00 AM to 12.00 P.M.
  • Evening: 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

Cracking this test is a nightmare for a big number of B.Tech qualified candidates. The GATE Score is valid for 03 years from the date of outcomes announcement. Candidates get admission to the specific course and the institute on the basis of the All India Rank (AIR) and score in the examination.

Checking the GATE Score Card, Result, and Marks

  2. Login at the opened web page using your GATE ID and password details.
  3. Your score card of GATE 2017 shall be displayed on the screen.
