AP Police Syllabus 2016 Constable, Warder Exam Pattern

The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Andhra Pradesh had notified 4548 vacancies in Police department for Police Constable and Warder. The selection for these posts will be on the basis of the prelim exam, PST, PET, and the final main written test. We have already shared the complete details of PST, PET in this article. Preliminary Written Test: First of all, the candidates who have applied for these posts, need to undergo the common written examination. The Prelim Test is a single paper examination to be held for 200 Marks. A total of 200 Questions shall be asked in this test.  The duration of this exam is 3 Hours.


There is a minimum mark requirement in Prelim Test. The candidate need to secure the following minimum marks as per his/her category:

There will be only the objective type questions in the AP Police Prelim Exam. The question paper will be set in English, Telugu, and Urdu languages. The aspirants have to answer the question using OMR sheets. Only the Blue or Black pen must be taken into use while darkening the circles on the answer sheet. Each right answer gives you One Mark.

The Marks obtained in Prelim Test will not be considered while making the list of selected candidates. Final selection will be made only on the basis of marks in the Final Exam. Once the prelim test is over, the intimation letter will be uploaded at recruitment.appolice.gov.in, 10 days prior to the PST, PET events.

Final Written Exam: The final written exam plays the major role in Andhra Pradesh Police Selection for the constable, warder posts. The merit list for finalizing the candidates will be made on the basis of marks in the final test.

The duration of this exam is 3 Hours. The Final Test consist 200 Questions to be asked for 100 Marks. Every question carries just 0.50 Mark. The test will be conducted in the optional language you mentioned in the application form.

Same as the prelim test, the final exam will also be having OMR sheet, objective type questions included. The Blue, Black pen must be used to write the answers.
