Andhra Pradesh Police Physical Test (PMT, PET) Details 2016

Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) to conduct the Physical Test for Constable and Warder vacancies. The PST (Physical Standard Test) includes the measuring of the physical standards such as height and the weight of the candidate.

The PET (Physical Efficiency Test) includes various events like race, long jump etc. The complete details of the physical test for AP Police Constables & Warders are indicated in next paragraphs.

In last, the main written examination shall take place to select the final candidates. No interview shall be conducted for the selection in AP Police.

AP Police Physical Standard Test (PST) Details

First, the preliminary test will be conducted for the candidates whose application is found eligible. Those who clears the preliminary exam will be called for the PST.

A Minimum chest expansion (Fulaav) of 5 c.m.s is required for male candidates of all categories. Candidate must have the height and weight as per the following table:

For the post code nos. 21 and 22:

For the post code no. 53: These posts are only for Male candidates. A man must have the height of 168 c.m.s and the chest not less than 87 c.m.s.

For the Post Code No. 54: These are Female specific vacancies. The height for the applicant of this Post Number must not be less than 153 cms. The minimum weight for this post is 45.5 K.G.S.

Andhra Pradesh Police Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2016

The Qualifiers of the PST will undergo the PET. This step is required only for the postcode 21, 53 & 54. Qualifying the 1600 Meters Race is Must for both male and female candidates while they can pass any one of the remaining two events.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) For the post code 22:

All three events of this PET must be cleared by the aspirant of Post Code 22 whether a male or female. Total 100 marks are assigned for this postcode.
